• Does ScoreMobile have fantasy capability?

  Right now, we do not have the option to customize fantasy rosters on our application, however we are looking into adding this feature in a future version of the app.

• How do you decide on new features?

  As you can imagine, we get a lot of requests for various sports and leagues around the world. We discuss each and every one of them to see which ones make the most sense for us. This is just a sample of what we consider: -User requests: Obviously, the more users that we get requesting something, the more viable it is for us. -Availability of reliable LIVE data feeds: The most important part of ScoreMobile is our live coverage. If we can't cover something live, we feel we are doing a disservice to our audience. -Sponsor interest, etc. If the feature meets the above criteria, you can bet that we will have it on ScoreMobile.

• Have you ever considered an ad-free, paid version of ScoreMobile?

  Yes, it is something we have discussed. However, at this time, we do not feel like removing the ads is enough to justify having a paid version. If we're going to have users pay for our content, we're going to add more exclusive features, and not just remove the ads.

• Why don't you have more video highlights?

  We would love to have highlights on the app from every league around the world. The issue is related to media rights. Each league negotiates their own rights with various companies, so once we get those rights, the highlights will be there.

• Is ScoreMobile really free?

  ScoreMobile and ScoreMobile FC are free to download and use, but you will use data. We suggest that before you use the app, you set up a data plan with your current phone carrier.

• What do the numbers with the + and - beside them mean?

  Those are gambling odds. The number with the + or - in front of it is either the amount of money you would need to wager to win $100 or the point spread. The number following the T is the total. • Why are my comments not showing up in the live blog?

  The person running the live blog is the one who approves/denies all posts that come through. It is solely up to them which posts make it into the live blog.

• Is ScoreMobile FC really free?

  ScoreMobile and ScoreMobile FC are free to download and use, but you will use data. We suggest that before you use the app, you set up a data plan with your current phone carrier.

BlackBerry

• Why is my keyboard stuck on the screen?

  The keyboard is stuck on the screen because the BB operating system has enabled "compatibility mode" on an app upgrade/reinstall (known issue with BB OS). Compatibility mode can be disabled by: - Options > Advanced Options > Applications - find ScoreMobile in the applications list - hit the BlackBerry menu button and choose disable Compatibility mode

• What are push alerts, and how do I use them?

  Push alerts are messages that get sent to your phone from ScoreMobile, alerting you of important events in games of your choosing. Here's how you set up alerts: 1. Go into a game boxscore, and select "Track Game". 2. Based on the sport you have chosen, you'll be given a list of options for things you can track. Select what you want, and click Save. Also, once you select a team as a fave, you'll be asked if you want alerts. Say yes, and you will automatically receive those alerts without adding each game. Alerts will appear in your message box from ScoreMobile.

• How do I remove the alert notification?

  The push alerts are sent to your 'Messages' folder. In order to clear the alert icon, simply go into your Messages folder, view the alert and delete it.

• How can I change my push alert sounds?

  In order to customize the sound and/or vibration for push alerts, follow these steps: - Go to your BB home screen and click ‘Options’ - Click on ‘Sounds and Ring Tones’ - Click on ‘Sounds for Selected Profile’ - Click on ‘Other Applications - Notifiers’ and select ‘ScoreMobile - Alerts’ - Inside this section, you can change your Sound Alerts (including Notifier Tone), as well as, Visual Alerts (LED), and Tactile Alerts (vibration).

• Why is ScoreMobile starting up in the background when I turn my BlackBerry on?

  ScoreMobile starts in the background because of our new push alerts feature. ScoreMobile will run in the background on your phone in order to ensure that you receive timely push alerts for your favorite teams.

• My ScoreMobile icon disappeared, how do I get it back?

  On your home screen, hold down the menu button and make sure that show all is checked. You should be able to find the ScoreMobile icon and move it from there.

• I have to keep going back to my downloads folder to use ScoreMobile. It‘s pretty inconvenient, how can I move it?

  To move the ScoreMobile icon to a convenient place on your home screen, we recommend the following. -click the BlackBerry menu key. You should see various folders and icons -find and select the "Downloads" folder (this is where the ScoreMobile "S" should be). -Highlight the "S", click BlackBerry menu, and choose "Move to Home screen". Optional: -Highlight the "S", click BlackBerry menu, and choose "Move". Now you can drag the "S" to whatever location you want. -it will be easiest to use if you drag it to the top row.

• How do I install the widget?

  To place a widget on the homescreen, you have to put your finger on an empty area of your homescreen and hold it there (Long-click). You will then have various options pop-up, one of them being "Widgets". Scroll down and select the "ScoreMobile" widget and it will appear on your homescreen.

• Why do you need access to my personal data?

  Actually, it's for your you to access all the features of our app. We request calendar access so you can import events into your calendar, notifying you when your favourite team plays a game. We also have a very popular Share feature. This allows you to share scores, news stories, game previews and recaps with all of your contacts.
